ZEE5 has unveiled the thrilling trailer for its upcoming horror-comedy, ‘Kakuda’, promising audiences a blend of bone-chilling scares and uproarious laughter.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by RSVP, ‘Kakuda’ features an ensemble cast headlined by Sonakshi Sinha, Riteish Deshmukh, Saqib Saleem and Aasif Khan. Scheduled for release on July 12 on ZEE5, the film explores the eerie curse haunting the village of Ratodi.

The story revolves around Sunny (played by Saqib Saleem) and Indira (played by Sonakshi Sinha), whose lives take a spooky turn after they move to Ratodi and fall victim to the malevolent ghost ‘Kakuda’.

According to local lore, failing to appease Kakuda leads to a fatal curse, compelling Indira to seek help from Victor (played by Riteish Deshmukh), an unconventional ghost hunter. Together, they embark on a hilariously terrifying quest to unravel the mystery behind Kakuda’s curse before Sunny’s fate is sealed.
