ABP Network has announced the promotion of Mohit Roy Sharma to the position of Senior executive editor. In his new role, Sharma will continue to lead the network’s communications and outreach, and curate events and intellectual properties (IPs). He was previously serving as executive editor, overseeing the outreach function at ABP Network.
In a LinkedIn post, Sharma expressed his gratitude, “My humble contributions at the ABP Network have been recognized. I’ve been elevated to the position of Senior Executive Editor. I shall continue to lead communications, outreach, and curate events/IPs for the network. I am grateful for the recognition.”
Sharma’s primary responsibilities will include, overseeing internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. Building and managing relationships with opinion makers in business, sports, and policymaking. Leading the creation and execution of events and intellectual properties to enhance the network’s outreach and engagement.
Sharma joined ABP Network in September 2021. His strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in enhancing the network’s communications and outreach efforts.
Before ABP Network, Sharma served as Vice President, Corporate Communications, from August 2020 to September 2021. He led the overall communications strategy, ensuring cohesive and effective messaging across all touchpoints and stakeholders.
Sharma joined BARC in August 2019 as Vice President of partnerships and Growth, where he focused on developing strategic partnerships and driving growth initiatives.
Sharma has held significant positions at TVTN (Aaj Tak and India Today News Channels), TV Today, and Integral PR Services, where he honed his skills in communications and public relations.
