Ajay Devgn has provided an update on the much-awaited ‘Singham 3’, stating that the film may not be released on Independence Day as previously planned due to incomplete work.
Initially titled ‘Singham Again’, the next installment in the popular cop franchise was scheduled for release on August 15. However, Devgn revealed that certain portions of the film are yet to be shot, emphasizing that rushing the process could compromise the quality.
“We are not sure. The work in the film is yet to be completed and some shooting is left. We are not in a hurry as haste spoils things. When we are ready, we will decide the release date,” Devgn informed reporters during the trailer launch of his latest film ‘Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha’.
The ‘Singham’ series, which began with the release of ‘Singham’ in 2011, followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014, has garnered a significant fan following. The franchise is part of a larger cop universe that includes Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’.
Adding to the anticipation, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff are set to join the cast, expanding the cop universe’s ensemble.
