Just a minute after vote counting commenced on Tuesday, Aaj Tak’s live YouTube feed hit an impressive milestone of 1 million concurrent viewers. By 8:01 am, the total number of concurrent viewers for Aaj Tak’s feeds reached 1,023,695, with the primary feed alone surpassing 700,000 viewers.
Aaj Tak led the digital race, followed by News18 India with 492,606 concurrent users at the same time. Zee News and ABP News also saw significant viewership, with 427,346 and 386,966 users, respectively. India TV recorded 320,664 concurrent viewers, while Times Now Navbharat and Republic Bharat had 123,249 and 106,244 concurrent users.
Between 7:00 am and 9:00 am, Aaj Tak maintained its lead with the highest peak concurrent viewership among news channels, achieving 2,416,384 users. News18 India followed with 1,507,274 peak concurrent users during the same period.
ABP News and Zee News continued to attract substantial audiences, with 881,842 and 829,397 concurrent users, respectively. India TV engaged 806,086 viewers, while News 24 and Republic Bharat had 629,855 and 331,696 concurrent users, respectively.
The remarkable viewer engagement reflects Aaj Tak’s dominance in digital news broadcasting and its ability to captivate a wide audience during critical events like election vote counting.
