News18 Network is gearing up to unveil the results of its comprehensive ‘Mega Exit Poll’ on June 1 at 5 pm. This exit poll, covering 518 Lok Sabha constituencies across 21 major states, is set to provide the most accurate projections for the General Elections 2024.
News18’s Mega Exit Poll, one of India’s most extensive surveys, encompasses 95 percent of Lok Sabha seats, offering a broad and detailed analysis. The survey features a vast sample size and utilizes a structured questionnaire translated into 11 regional languages, ensuring inclusivity and precision, the news channel said in a press release.
Adopting a mixed methodology, News18’s Mega Exit Poll stands out by conducting ‘day after’ interviews from Phases 1 to 6 of the polling, rather than the traditional exit polls conducted immediately after voters cast their ballots.
This approach is designed to yield more reliable responses. The traditional exit poll methodology was employed during Phase 7. Fieldwork for this extensive survey was conducted by ten different agencies, all adhering to strict quality control measures.
The results of the News18 Mega Exit Poll will be extensively covered across the News18 network, including News18 India, CNN-News18, and various regional channels. Additionally, the results will be available on News18’s websites in multiple languages, ensuring wide-reaching and inclusive coverage of this landmark survey.
Tune in to News18 Network at 5 pm on June 1 to get the most comprehensive insights into the likely outcomes of the General Elections 2024.
