Karan Johar has announced his new film, ‘Dhadak 2’. Produced by Johar, the film will star Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri and will be directed by Shazia Iqbal.
Sharing the announcement video, Karan Johar wrote in Hindi, “Once upon a time, there was a king and there was a queen. They were from different castes, and that’s the end of the story.”
The caption also read, “Presenting Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi & Triptii Dimri. Directed by Shazia Iqbal. #Dhadak2 in cinemas 22nd November 2024.”
The movie will explore barriers of class and status stitched in the minds of societies, underscoring a narrative of love that can never be fulfilled, PTI reported.
‘Dhadak 2’, produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures, features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the film is slated for release on November 22, 2024.
