India’s musical talent takes center stage at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year as Saregama’s rising stars, Pragati, Maahi, and Arjun, gear up to debut their electrifying performances.
Their participation marks a significant moment for Indian music, promising to showcase the nation’s rich musical heritage to a global audience.
Scheduled from May 14 to 25, the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is renowned for celebrating the finest in world cinema. Against the backdrop of the iconic French Riviera, this year’s festival promises a spectacle of talent and creativity, with the trio’s performances poised to be a standout highlight.
The trio’s journey at Cannes begins on May 16 at the prestigious Bharat Parv event, hosted by the Official Indian Delegation, with support from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), alongside Kamla Mills.
Attended by celebrities, senior officials, and esteemed film guests from across the globe, Pragati, Maahi, and Arjun will captivate the audience with a blend of their original compositions and timeless classics from Saregama’s extensive repertoire.
Continuing their showcase, on May 17, Saregama Talent will take center stage at the Bharat Pavilion, further solidifying their global footprint. The legendary Shaan will join the trio to introduce their performance, promising an unforgettable experience for viewers worldwide as the event will be broadcasted on Saregama’s YouTube page.
Highlighting the significance of Bharat Parv, Prithul Kumar, JS (Film) & MD NFDC, expressed pride in showcasing India’s diverse creative talents on a global stage. Siddharth Anand, Senior VP Films and Events, emphasized Saregama’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing them with international platforms.
Nidarshana Gowani, Owner of Kamala Mills, expressed excitement for the vibrant cultural representation led by Pragati, Maahi, and Arjun, underscoring the fusion of India’s musical legacy with contemporary Gen Z elements.
