WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is gearing up to unveil a slew of new features aimed at enhancing user engagement and convenience within the app.
According to reports from IANS, WhatsApp is currently in the development phase of several features designed to enrich the chat experience for its users.
Among the upcoming features is “Reactions from Media Viewer,” allowing users to swiftly react to media content without exiting the viewer screen, streamlining the reaction process and enhancing user interaction. This feature is presently being tested by select beta users.
Additionally, WhatsApp is working on a feature called “Hidden Community Group Chats,” enabling users to mark community group chats as hidden with a dedicated icon next to the group name, providing more control over chat visibility.
Another notable addition is the “Manage Chat Storage Filters” feature, empowering users to filter their chat list within the storage management section for efficient device storage management.
