The illustrious RR Kabel Filmfare Awards Marathi 2024 unfolded with grandeur at the Mahakavi Kalidas Natyamandir in Mumbai on April 18, marking a spectacular celebration of Marathi cinema.
Hosted by the dynamic duo of Amey Wagh and Siddharth Chandekar, the event dazzled audiences with stellar performances, heartfelt speeches, and well-deserved accolades, the company said in a press release.
The evening witnessed stunning performances by Marathi cinema’s finest talents, including Prajakta Mali, Prathana Behere, Shruti Marathe, and Vaibhav Tatwawadi, captivating the audience with their mesmerizing acts. Scheduled to air on Colors Marathi on May 5 at 7 pm, viewers can expect a showcase of glamour and entertainment like never before.
The RR Kabel Filmfare Awards Marathi 2024 celebrated exceptional achievements in Marathi cinema, with notable victories across various categories. Aatmapamphlet and Baipan Bhari Deva clinched the Best Film award, while Ashish Avinash Bende was honored as the Best Director for his outstanding work in Aatmapamphlet. Shashank Shende and Gauri Deshpande were recognized as the Best Actors in Leading Roles (Male and Female) respectively, for their remarkable performances in Baaplyok and Aatmapamphlet. Other winners included Ankush Chaudhary for Best Actor (Critics’), Rohini Hattangadi for Best Actress (Critics’), and Jayesh Khare and Mayur Sukale for Best Playback Singer (Male), among others.
The star-studded event saw the presence of industry luminaries such as Suhas Joshi, Rinku Rajguru, Adityanath Kothari, Tejasswi Prakash, Sonali Kulkarni, and many more, adding glamour to the red carpet with their unique style statements.
