DEN Networks has recently appointed Omesh Uppal as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective from April 16, 2024. The company disclosed this management change to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
With an extensive career spanning over 27 years, Uppal brings a wealth of experience in the realms of Broadcast Media, Digital Entertainment, and Fast-moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from Apeejay School of Marketing and a B.Sc. (Honours) degree from Delhi University.
Prior to joining DEN Networks, Uppal served as Senior VP, Affiliate Sales (Cable) for India, APAC, and South Asia at IndiaCast for over 12 years. His professional journey also includes stints at Nestle India Private Limited, as well as various television channels such as Sony, Discovery, and ESPN Star Sports.
This appointment signals DEN Network’s strategic move to bolster its leadership team with Uppal’s rich industry expertise and leadership acumen.
