News18 Network has made a significant announcement regarding the appointment of Amitosh Pal as Branch Head – Indian Languages (East) & Business Head – News18 Bangla, Odiya, Assam.
In his new role, Amitosh will spearhead efforts to establish News18 Bangla as the preferred choice for advertisers and agencies, in addition to leading sales endeavors for News18 Assam and News18 Odiya. Furthermore, he will take charge of the monetization initiative for News18 India in the eastern markets and focus on scaling revenue for News18 India from the region.
Amitosh brings with him a wealth of experience in media sales, spanning over 25 years, with a predominant tenure of 19 years at ABP Network.
During his time at ABP Network, he notably led sales for ABP Ananda and held positions at Zee Network, Siti Cable Network, and Tata Infomedia in the past. Beyond his professional commitments, Amitosh has diverse interests including academics, negotiation studies, and travel.
Reporting to Munish Atrey, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Indian Languages, Amitosh will be integral in driving News18 Network’s business objectives in the eastern markets. Munish Atrey will continue to report to Mitul Sangani, CEO – Indian Languages, News18 Network.
The News18 Indian Languages cluster encompasses Hindi as well as regional languages, including News18 India, News18 Rajasthan, News18 MP/Chhattisgarh, News18 Bihar Jharkhand, News18 UP/Uttarakhand, News18 Punjab/ Haryana, News18 Bangla, News18 Gujarati, News18 Kannada, News18 Tamil Nadu, News18 Telugu, News18 Odia, News18 Assam/NE, News18 Lokmat, News18 Kerala, and News18 Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Himachal.
