Inaugural Event: The event commenced with a mesmerizing musical performance by The Delhi Police’s All-Women Band, featuring 85 talented female officers. HSBC CEO’s Commitment: Hitendra Dave, CEO of HSBC India, highlighted HSBC’s commitment to fostering equality of opportunity, including gender parity. Transparent practices such as disclosing pay by gender and fair recruitment processes were emphasized to drive tangible change.
India’s Alliance for Global Good: Smt. Smriti Irani, Minister of Women & Child Development, discussed India’s commitment to global welfare, citing achievements during the COVID-19 pandemic and the nation’s role in discussions on gender parity within the G20.
Inspiring Women Achievers: The event celebrated and felicitated women achievers like Gul Panag, Captain Shivani Kulkarni, Harshini Kanhekar, and Shaheen Malik. Leaders like Col. Bindu Nair, Ravneet Kaur, Lieutenant Commander Prerana Deosthalee, Suman Nalva, and Ajaita Shah were recognized for their inspiring contributions.
Insightful Discussions: Fireside chats with Jenny Johnson, CEO of Franklin Templeton Investments, and TED-style talks by Ravneet Kaur, Chairperson of the Competition Commission of India, added depth to the event.
