Netflix has set March 1 as the streaming date for the much-anticipated courtroom comedy series, ‘Maamla Legal Hai‘.
Starring Ravi Kishan, Nidhi Bisht, and Yashpal Sharma, the show is directed by Rahul Pandey, with Saurabh Khanna and Kunal Aneja as the writers. Set within the fictional Patparganj District Court, the series promises a delightful blend of humour, heart, and legal intricacies, PTI reported from Mumbai.
‘Maamla Legal Hai’ takes a refreshing approach to the legal world, portraying a diverse group of lawyers, ranging from idealistic rookies to seasoned veterans. The narrative revolves around their hustle for cases, recognition, and the coveted air-conditioned chambers, delivering relatable content that resonates with the audience.
Ravi Kishan plays the charismatic VD Tyagi, the president of the Patparganj Bar Association, harboring dreams of becoming the Attorney General of India. Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, Anjum Batra, and Vijay Rajoria portray lawyers working under Tyagi’s leadership.
