The inaugural match in Mumbai witnessed the presence of Pankaj Tripathi, a Bihar-born actor, adding glitz to the competition between Puneri Paltan and Tamil Thalaivas.
Tripathi, known for his roles in “Main Atal Hoon,” not only graced the event but also provided commentary, reminiscing about his own Kabaddi days. He praised the game’s intensity and the unwavering dedication of its players.
Expressing joy over Kabaddi’s rising popularity, Tripathi stated, “I am extremely pleased to see Kabaddi gaining a substantial platform through the Pro Kabaddi League and receiving immense love from the people of India.”
