Viacom18 is set to broadcast the three-match T20I series between Afghanistan and India live and exclusively on JioCinema, Sports18-1 SD + HD, and Colors Cineplex from January 11-17.
This series marks Team India’s inaugural T20I series of 2024 and serves as a prelude to the forthcoming T20 World Cup later in the year.
JioCinema aims to enhance the viewing experience by offering the series in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Colors Cineplex will present live action in Hindi, while viewers can choose between English, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada on Sports18-1 SD + HD.
Throughout the series, fans can expect insightful analysis from cricketing legends such as Suresh Raina, Zaheer Khan, Saba Karim, Parthiv Patel, Aakash Chopra, and Pragyan Chopra.
A promo released by Viacom18 depicts the two nations, Afghanistan and India, represented by their cricket kits in a friendly banter-filled exchange at a sports store. With the tagline ‘dekh lenge’ (‘we will see’), the campaign adds a playful touch to the clash of ‘the giant killers vs the giants’, with both teams challenging each other for the series, incorporating enjoyable cultural references.
Coverage for the matches is scheduled to commence at 6 pm on JioCinema, Sports18-1 SD + HD, and Colors Cineplex, promising an immersive cricketing experience for fans across platforms.
