Kicking off the festivities, Cartoon Network has a delightful surprise in store for young fans with special episodes of ‘Teen Titans Go!’ titled ‘The Great Holiday Escape’ and ‘Christmas Magic’.
Airing on Monday, December 25 at 12 noon, this exclusive treat promises a magical experience featuring young superheroes Raven, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire, and Robin.
POGO, India’s beloved kids’ channel, is geared up to entertain audiences with characters like Chhota Bheem and Little Singham this Christmas.
Starting on Christmas Eve, December 24, the channel premieres ‘Mighty Little Bheem Special: I Love Taj Mahal’ at 9:30 am, followed by daily premieres of new specials from December 25 till December 31, beginning at 11:30 am. Christmas Day brings ‘Little Singham – Black Shadow Super Spy Game’ at 12:15 pm, inviting kids and parents into thrilling adventures.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! POGO has a surprise crossover event planned to welcome the New Year with a bang.
Meanwhile, Discovery Kids joins the festive spirit with ‘Kris ke Superhits’ starting December 23 at 11:30 am and ‘Naya Saal Double Dhamaal’ with fresh episodes of ‘Kris’ and ‘Shaun the Sheep’ from January 1 at 10:30 am. NDTV has appointed Prashanti Moktan to head the network’s Instagram strategy as it looks to strengthen its presence on social media and connect with a wider audience. In her new role, Prashanti will lead NDTV’s Instagram strategy and work on content, audience engagement and growth across the network’s social media platforms. According to an NDTV press release, Prashanti brings more than 13 years of experience in digital media, audience growth and content strategy. During her time at Business Today, the brand’s Instagram reach grew to 100 million per month, while follower growth increased by more than 200 percent under her leadership. Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, NDTV, said social media is changing how people discover and consume news. He said Prashanti’s understanding of audiences and platform-led storytelling will help NDTV build stronger connections with viewers. At NDTV, Prashanti will focus on creating social-first content formats, increasing audience engagement and reaching newer audiences across different platforms. Vinay Sarawgi, Chief Content Officer, NDTV, said Prashanti brings a combination of editorial experience, creativity and audience understanding. He added that she will help develop new formats to expand NDTV’s reach and relevance across social media. Prashanti holds a degree in Journalism, Psychology and English from Christ University, Bengaluru, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Radio and Television Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. Her appointment is part of NDTV’s continued focus on expanding its digital and social media presence and reaching new audiences across platforms.
