News18 Bangla proudly inaugurated the first-ever edition of Dashobhuja recently, dedicated to illuminating the extraordinary tales of women who have surmounted adversities to create remarkable impacts within society.
The inaugural event of Dashobhuja, held on November 24, unfolded a captivating narrative, showcasing the resolute journeys of 10 exceptional women hailing from diverse corners of West Bengal, a press release from the TV channel stated.
Their unwavering determination and notable achievements were recognized and honoured, serving as an embodiment of inspiration for countless individuals.
The prestigious gathering was graced by eminent personalities, including Chandrima Bhattacharya, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare; Birbaha Hansda, Minister of State for Forests and Self Help – Self Employment Group and Dr. Shashi Panja, Minister-In-Charge of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare in the State government.
Adding glamour and prestige to the affair were luminaries from the entertainment realm, featuring the presence of Bengali cinema’s acclaimed actress Paoli Dam and the renowned singer Lopamudra Mitra.
The guest list boasted figures such as Koneenica Banerjee, Indrani Dutta, Raajnandini Paul, Oindrila Sen, Sanjib Kr. Patwari (Director of Rashmi Group), and Shree Gopal Shroff (Marketing Director of Doctor’s Choice), amongst others.
