WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is introducing a new interface for the app settings on iOS beta.
According to IANS, the settings tab has been replaced by a new ‘You’ tab that displays the profile photo and allows users to easily switch to a different account when the multi-account feature launches.
The platform also introduced three new entry points with the new interface to better highlight the app’s important sections.
Users will be able to easily access their privacy settings, contacts list, and profile as a result of this.
Users will also notice a new shortcut over their profile photo, allowing them to view and share their QR code.
According to the report, the new settings interface is currently available to some beta testers who install the latest update of WhatsApp beta for iOS from the TestFlight app, and will be rolled out to more users in the coming weeks.
