Priya Dogra, who has served as the head of Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA for 14 years, is departing from her position due to the discontinuation of her role following the high-profile merger of Warner Media and Discovery.
Dogra had played a crucial role as president and managing director for the EMEA region in the aftermath of the merger.
According to Deadline, the decision was revealed in an email sent to the company’s staff by Gerhard Zeiler, Dogra’s superior, who stated that both parties had reached a “mutual agreement” for her departure by the end of the year.
In the wake of her exit, the EMEA team will now report directly to Zeiler, with no immediate plans for a replacement for Dogra.
During her tenure, Dogra had climbed the ranks within the company, holding notable positions such as head of mergers and acquisitions for Time Warner, head of strategy and corporate development for WarnerMedia, and president of Warner Media Entertainment Networks EMEA and APAC before several mergers reshaped the organization.
