The much-awaited non-fiction series, ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported,’ directed by Vivek Agnihotri, is set to premiere on ZEE5 starting August 11.
ZEE5 took to its official Twitter handle on Saturday to announce the eagerly anticipated release date of the show.
Agnihotri, known for his 2022 movie ‘The Kashmir Files,’ has compiled extensive research, archival footage, and interviews for this seven-part series, providing a deeper insight into the historical, ethnical, and geopolitical aspects surrounding the tragic events that unfolded in the 1990s, resulting in the massacre and mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley, PTI reported.
‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’ offers riveting conversations with historians, experts, real-life victims, and their families, shedding light on the untold stories of this heart-wrenching chapter in Kashmir’s history.
The series is produced by Agnihotri and his actor-wife Pallavi Joshi under their banner, IamBuddha Entertainment and Media LLP.
As the premiere date draws near, viewers can expect a compelling and informative portrayal of the events that shook the nation, making ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’ a must-watch for those seeking to understand the truth behind this dark period in Kashmir’s past.
