Dilpreeta Vasudeva, Meta’s Head of Marketing-Business Messaging (WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger), has left the company after nearly 11 months.
Meta recruited Vasudeva in July 2022.
Vasudeva took to LinkedIn to confirm the development. In the post, she stated, “Not the kind of impact I was hoping for. It’s with immense gratitude that I sign-off from #Meta for a rewarding journey, fine culture and such stellar colleagues. Peace, love, happiness and many successes to my now ex-meta mates!”
Her time at Meta comes to an end as the company enters its third round of global layoffs. This round of layoffs has also affected several other top marketing executives in India.
Vasudeva was the Founder of CMO Access for over a year before joining Meta. She has also worked for Bharti Enterprises as Head of Marketing Transformation- Financial Services, Reliance Industries as Head of Marketing-Jio Studios, Tata Play as Head of Digital Marketing, and Microsoft Corporation as Senior Manager Marketing, among others.
