Hitesh Shetty has been named the new Head of Revenue for Broadcast at Shemaroo Entertainment. He will report directly to Sandeep Gupta, COO of the Broadcasting Business.
Hitesh has almost two decades of expertise in the Media & Entertainment industry, having held senior positions at firms such as Disney Star and Times of India Group.
Previously at Disney Star, he was in charge of the West portfolio of the main general entertainment channel Star Plus before becoming Director and National Sales Head for Star Bharat.
Hitesh will be responsible for developing plans to boost revenue from current and upcoming Linear Satellite and Connected TV channels in his new role at Shemaroo Entertainment.
He will also play an important role in generating new revenue streams for the company’s digital operations.
