In terms of engagement for the first match of IPL 16, 33 percent is the second lowest TVS in the last six seasons of the T-20 tournament [BARC, M15+ AB India Urban]. The IPL 15 had a lower TVS of 30 percent.

Even when OOH and FTA channel (Star Utsav Movies) data are included, the opening match had the second-lowest TVR of 7.29 in the last 6 seasons [BARC, M15+ AB India Urban]. The lowest TVR in the previous six seasons was 5.57 in IPL 15.
