Before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, which begins on March 31, Ashneer Grover’s new business Third Unicorn has created CrickPe, a fantasy sports app that aspires to compete with Dream11 and Mobile Premier League. (MPL).
“The biggest revolution in cricket since the IPL – the only fantasy game that pays cricketers based on their performance.” Grover stated in a tweet, “Where you win, cricketer wins, cricket wins.”
CrickPe will charge a 10 percent platform fee on all monies received for any public or private contest, IANS reported from New Delhi.
It allows participants over the age of 18 to form a virtual cricket team and compete in sponsored contests for cash prizes.
“It is the only fantasy cricket app in the world where actual playing cricketers, cricketing bodies, and real team owners win cash rewards alongside fantasy game-winners,” according to the Google Play Store description.
Dream11 presently rules the online fantasy sports market.
