Meta has released a new WhatsApp client for Windows that loads faster and has a design similar to the program’s mobile version.
Users can now arrange up to eight-person group video conversations and up to 32-person voice calls.
The business stated that these restrictions will be increased over time so that customers may always stay connected with friends, family, and coworkers, IANS reported.
“WhatsApp is the most widely used platform for providing a fully end-to-end encrypted messaging experience that enables cross-platform communication between mobile phones, computers, tablets, and other devices.” This means that your messages, media, and calls are always end-to-end encrypted across all your devices,” Meta said.
Furthermore, the tech giant has made improvements such as faster device connection and better device syncing, as well as new features such as link previews and stickers.
In addition, Meta stated that the business will release a new Mac desktop version of WhatsApp, which is presently in beta.
