‘Bawaal’, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, and directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, has a new release date.
The film’s distributor, Nadiadwala Grandson, has announced that the film will now be released in theaters on October 6, rather than April 7.
Tiwari and Varun both announced the news on their social media sites.
‘Bawaal’, billed as a romance drama, began principal photography in April 2022 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and the crew later traveled to Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Poland.
Varun and Janhvi completed the Nitesh Tiwari-directed film in August of last year and announced that it will be released in April of this year.
The story of ‘Bawaal’ revolves around a small-town man who falls in love with the most attractive girl in town. He hopes to marry her one day since it will allow him to advance in his social standing.
‘Bawaal’ is Nitesh Tiwari and Sajid Nadiadwala’s second collaboration, following Sushant Singh Rajput’s National Award-winning film ‘Chhichhore’.
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari wrote the story for ‘Bawaal’, as well as the script, with Piyush Gupta, Nikhil Mehrotra, Shreyas Jain, and spouse Nitesh Tiwari.
‘Bawaal’ is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson and co-produced by EarthSky Pictures.
