Thousands of music fans flocked to Pune’s Mahalaxmi Lawns as the 2023 edition of the VH1 Supersonic Music Festival kicked off with performances by Prateek Kuhad, OAFF and Savera.
The three-day music extravaganza returns after a three-year hiatus, with a lineup that includes some of the scene’s biggest names, including Annie Marie, CKay, Divine, Tyga, and Farhan Akhtar, to name a few.
The first day’s opening act on Saturday was Mozez X PlanB, who was followed by a slew of other artists including Harshal, Ankan, Sunflower Tape Machine, and Earl Gateshead, a PTI report stated.
Prateek Kuhad, the headliner, performed his hit songs such as ‘Tune Kaha’, ‘The Last Time’, ‘Dil Beparwah’, ‘Kasoor’, and ‘Cold/Mess’, among others.
While performing their superhit songs ‘Doobey’ and ‘Gehraiyaan’ from the 2022 film ‘Gehraiyaan’, OAFF and Savera surprised their fans, PTI reported from Mumbai.
“We have a surprise for you, and you’re not prepared for it,” the duo said as actor Siddhant Chaturvedi appeared on stage and rapped.
The organizer also had a super flea market inside with a variety of stalls selling everything from handmade goods to artisan pottery and block print clothing. There were numerous food stalls throughout the venue serving a wide variety of cuisines.
