Karan Johar announced on Thursday that his upcoming directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ will now be released on July 28.
The film, a Dharma Productions production, was originally scheduled to be released on February 10, 2023, but was later pushed back to April 28, 2023, late last year.
Johar, whose most recent film was 2016’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, announced the film’s release on his official Instagram account.
“They say ‘sabr ka phal meetha hota hai,’ so we’re coming with a whole lot of love to add to the mithaas of this incredibly special story!” Rocky and Rani’s parivaar ho rahe hain taiyyaar, and anokhi kahani of pyaar! “#RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani in theaters July 28th, 2023,” he wrote.
‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ is a family drama starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, as well as veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
The screenplay for ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ was co-written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy.
