Google Contacts, Google’s contact management service for Android, now has a new ‘Highlight’ tab.
According to IANS from San Francisco, the new tab appears between ‘Contacts’ and ‘Fix & manage’ in the Material You bottom bar.
Users see a grid of ‘Favorites’ below the search field, with four icons in a row representing four of their favorite contacts.
Users can also ‘Add’ new ones easily from the top-right corner.
Users will find the ‘Recents’ section under ‘Favorites,’ which is a two-tab list that begins with ‘View recently’.
‘Added recently’, on the other hand, completes the list and is the most useful feature of the new user interface (UI).
Contacts are now a three-tab application as a result of the change.
