Bharti Airtel on Monday announced the launch of its cutting-edge 5G services in Shimla.
Airtel 5G services are currently available on Mall Road, Sanjoli, Dhalli, BhattaKufar, Ridge, and Sanjoli Helipad Area, as well as a few other select locations.
Airtel stated that it will expand its network and make its services available throughout the city in due course.
“Airtel customers can now enjoy ultrafast network speeds that are 20-30 times faster than current 4G speeds. We are currently lighting up the entire city, allowing customers to enjoy superfast access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant photo uploading, and more,” Pushpinder Singh Gujral, CEO, of Upper North, said in a statement.
Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as the company continues to construct its network and complete the rollout.
The company claims that it will provide massive speeds, the best voice experience, work on all 5G smartphones, and be more environmentally friendly.
