ABP News-CVoter’s (Centre for Voting Opinion & Trends in Election Research) final opinion poll findings predict a comfortable victory for the incumbent BJP Government with a tally of 134 – 142 seats in the forthcoming Gujarat assembly elections.
ABP News– CVoter final opinion poll findings on Gujarat elections predict a distant second position for Congress (INC) with a tally of 28-36 seats and AAP is likely to secure a tally of only 7-15 seats.

According to opinion poll findings, BJP is likely to garner a 45.9 percent vote share, followed by INC with 26.9 percent and AAP with 21.1 percent.

ABP News-CVoter also conducted a snap poll in Gujarat and one of the questions posed to the voters was who do they think is the most preferred candidate to be the next Chief Minister of Gujarat?
In response to the question, 52.1 percent of respondents said they were in support of BJP leaders, 23.6 percent of respondents voted in favor of AAP leaders, 19 percent of respondents voted for INC leaders, and 5.3 percent of respondents were in support of other party leaders.

Another question posed to the respondents was, what according to them is the most important issue at the moment?

Unemployment was identified as the biggest challenge by 37.5 percent of respondents, 18.2 percent of respondents considered Electricity/Water/Roads, 4.2 percent of respondents considered Government’s performance during the pandemic to be the most important issue, 13 percent of respondents considered farmers’ issue, 2.6 percent respondents identified law and order, 4.5 percent people said corruption in government works was the key issue, 2.3 percent people considered national issues, 4.3 percent people considered inflation while 13.4 percent respondents identified other issues as the biggest challenge.
This poll is based on surveys conducted between Sept to the fourth week of November 2022 and C Voter has made sure that the analysis is properly represented by statistically balancing the data to make it reflective of the local population according to the most recent census results.

This survey is based on CATI interviews with respondents who are adults (18+) and represent all segments.
