The Yami Gautam-starrer ‘Lost’ will air exclusively on ZEE5, the streamer said on Monday, making it a direct-to-digital release.
In the Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury-directed movie, Gautam will play a crime reporter.
On the actor’s birthday, the streaming service posted the announcement on its official Twitter account.
“The birthday girl is ready to kick off her search for the truth! #HappyBirthday @yamigautam #LostOnZEE5 coming soon,” ZEE5 said in the tweet.
Backed by Zee Studios and Namah Pictures, ‘Lost’ also stars Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee and Tushar Pandey. The filmmakers claim that the movie attempts to bring attention to the problem of media integrity.
Swanand Kirkire wrote the songs for the soundtrack, which was composed by Shantanu Moitra.
Zee Studios, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, Sam Fernandes, and Indrani Mukherjee are the producers of ‘Lost’.
Gautam’s most recent appearance was in the April premiere of the social comedy ‘Dasvi’ on Netflix and JioCinema.
