‘The Crown’ S5 predictably premiered at the top of the Netflix English TV list with 107.39 million hours seen, becoming the most-watched show in the week starting November 7
The mystery series ‘Manifest’s season four Part 1 came in at number two spot in the Top 10 list in 90 different countries with 74.78 million total viewing hours. 41.99 million and 18.2 million viewing hours were devoted to Seasons 1 and 2, respectively.
‘Love is Blind’’ Season 3 finale received 47.25 million hours of viewing, while ‘From Scratch’ continued to win with over 31.3 million hours of viewing.
The fictionalized drama series on the English royal family now stars Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles, and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana.
Produced by Sony’s Left Bank, ‘The Crown’ has been taking something of a royal shellacking as it moves into more modern times.
Netflix also recently added a disclaimer to the fifth season trailer, stating that it was “inspired by real events” and it was a “fictional dramatization”.
