The American video platform YouTube is rolling out a new feature that might be quite handy for individuals who have the YouTube app installed on their TV.
According to ANI, previously, using your phone to control that app required going through the casting process, which was cumbersome.
While, the new feature, allows users to easily connect their TV’s YouTube app to their phone’s YouTube app, eliminating the need for casting. It’s also a full sync, which means they’ll always get information about the video playing on your TV in the YouTube app on your phone.
Users can use their phone’s keyboard to search for things to view on TV, they can comment on a video they’re presently watching on TV, or they can check the description of a film they’re watching on TV on their phone.
