Vi, India’s leading telecom operator, is offering attractive international roaming packs for its customers this holiday season as international travel opens up and more Indians resume international travel for business and pleasure.
Vi currently has roaming agreements with operators in multiple countries, allowing customers to travel internationally without worry.
Vi International Roaming packs allow users to roam worry-free with unlimited voice and data calls and data across the world’s most popular travel destinations, the company said in a statement.
Vi post-paid customers traveling to popular business and vacation destinations such as the UAE, UK, USA, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Australia, Thailand, Brazil, and more can purchase Vi Unlimited International Roaming packs, which range in price from Rs.599 for 24 hours to Rs.5999 for 28 days.
All Vi Postpaid Roaming packs have an ‘Always On’ feature that ensures customers are not charged exorbitant rates while on international roaming, even after the subscription period has expired. If travelers who have purchased the Vi Postpaid Roaming Pack for 7 days need to extend their stay, they can use their phone for voice, SMS, and data and will be charged standard rates until their usage value reaches Rs.599.
After crossing Rs.599, the user will be charged Rs.599 for each additional day they use the International roaming service, protecting them from bill shock.
Furthermore, the REDX customers with an individual or family plan (primary member) can take one international trip per year with a free 7-day Vi International Roaming pack worth $2999.
