Catering to India’s dynamic young audience, Viacom18’s Youth, Music, and English Entertainment (YME) cluster has announced the launch of its new movie channel, Colors Cineplex Superhits.
With the launch of the channel, the network will consolidate over 500 movie titles from the Colors Cineplex and Colors Cineplex Bollywood’s content library, into one channel.
The channels will exist independently after the launch.
The tagline ‘Super hai’ will show superhit movies under one channel which will go live from April 1, 2022.
Colors Cineplex Superhits aims to target the urban and rural HSM market.
Commenting on the launch of the channel, Rohan Lavsi, Head movie cluster, Viacom18 Media said, “Movies are the most preferred medium of entertainment for the viewers, and Colors Cineplex has always been at the forefront of providing exceptional movie content. The mother channel – ‘Colors Cineplex’ has seen impressive growth in the past few years and has made it to the top five channels under the ‘Colors Cineplex’ brand name.”
