American multimedia instant messaging app Snapchat is introducing a new real-time location feature.

The feature is supposed to be a temporary buddy system while friends and family are on the way home or elsewhere.

“Make sure you and your friends get home safely with temporary location-sharing,” Snapchat posted in a tweet late on Friday.

The feature is similar to the Find My app on iOS, where users who’ve opted in can see and share precise location, ANI reported from Washington.

The feature is only available between mutual friends on the app.

This update is the first live location feature for Snapchat.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious.
