Disney-owned Star TV Network has elevated Krishnan Kutty as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Head for Tamil, Malayalam and Marathi businesses for both TV and OTT, Krishnan said in his LinkedIn post.
Krishnan has been with Star TV for the last 16 years, beginning January 2009 as Executive Vice President, Distribution. Before joining Star, he served in revenue strategy roles at Hutch and Mindshare.
He began his career with London based media and advertising agency Mindshare as a planning manager.
Krishnan brings more than two decades of experience in the media industry, revenue strategy, and marketing. He is an alumnus of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and post-graduated in marketing from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
