Television personalities Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa are all set to celebrate Diwali with their children, Gola and Kaju, as the festival of lights brings joy, togetherness and new beginnings. For the couple, this year’s celebrations hold a special place as they prepare to celebrate Kaju’s first Diwali while watching Gola enjoy the festive traditions.
Sharing her excitement about the festival, Bharti Singh spoke about her love for decorating the house, choosing diyas, bringing home sweets and spending time with the entire family. She said that seeing the festive glow and priceless smiles on her children’s faces makes the celebrations even more special.
Bharti said, “Diwali has always been one of my favourite festivals because I love everything about it, from decorating the entire house and choosing the diyas to bringing home mithai and having the whole family together. But what makes the festival truly special for me is seeing that festive glow on my children’s faces and their priceless smiles. Honestly, that is something that makes me fall in love with festivals all over again.”
The actress and comedian added that Gola equally enjoys the variety of sweets during the festive season, making him just as excited about Diwali. With Kaju celebrating her first Diwali this year, Bharti is looking forward to creating memorable moments with both her children.
She further shared that she wants her children to understand the true significance of Diwali, including the triumph of light over darkness, the importance of new beginnings and the joy of sharing with others. For Bharti, the festival is also a reminder of prosperity, gratitude and the importance of continuing to work hard and dream bigger.
Speaking about her professional journey, Bharti described ‘Indian Game Show with Bharti and Harssh’ as their first baby, which will always hold a special place in their hearts. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to bring joy to television audiences and said that spreading happiness, whether through family celebrations or their show, is what makes Diwali truly meaningful.
Harssh Limbachiyaa, meanwhile, reflected on how becoming a father has changed his perspective on festivals and the importance of passing on family traditions to the next generation.
He said, “Becoming a father has made me look at festivals very differently. With every passing year, I feel a greater sense of responsibility towards the traditions we follow and the values we pass on to our children. Diwali has an everlasting significance because its message of light, hope triumphing over challenges, and goodness always finding its way through is something that remains relevant across generations.”
Harssh added that Diwali reminds families to be grateful for what they have, move forward with faith and welcome new beginnings. He shared that he and Bharti ensure every festival at home is filled with celebrations, from sweets and gifts to decorations and little surprises. However, the most special part remains spending time with their children and creating memories they can cherish as they grow older.
The comedian also spoke about the significance of their show, ‘Indian Game Show with Bharti and Harssh’, and the affection they have received from audiences throughout their journey. He said that being able to connect with families through laughter and entertainment on Sony Entertainment Television is a privilege, especially during a festival that celebrates togetherness.
For Bharti and Harssh, this Diwali is not just about festive decorations and sweets but also about celebrating family, gratitude and the joy of new beginnings. As they welcome Kaju’s first festive season and watch Gola enjoy the traditions, the couple hopes to make the occasion memorable for their children.
