Bidipta Chakraborty has shared how her journey after ‘Indian Idol’ helped her grow as an artist. She will return to the stage with Subhajit Chakraborty on Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show ‘Indian Idol Legends Return’.
According to a Sony Entertainment Television press release, Bidipta said ‘Indian Idol’ was the beginning of her journey, while her experiences after the show helped shape her as a singer.
She added that ‘Legends Return’ is special because she is returning with the experience and learning she has gained over the years.
Talking about her musical pairing with Subhajit, Bidipta said they share a natural understanding of music. She explained that their genres, pitch and musical sensibilities match well, allowing them to perform comfortably together.
She also said their coordination helps them complement each other rather than compete.
Produced by Fremantle, ‘Indian Idol Legends Return’ will bring together former contestants who have grown as artists since their time on the show.
‘Indian Idol Legends Return’ is set to premiere on October 17 on Sony Entertainment Television.
