Apple TV has released the trailer for its upcoming heist drama series ‘12 12 12’, starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan. The eight-episode series will premiere globally on November 13, with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode every week until December 25.
According to an Apple press release yesterday, the series follows a disgraced FBI agent, played by Mackie, and an American career criminal, played by Dornan.
The two become involved in a tense game of cat and mouse across Europe, centred on an ambitious plan to rob a bank vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich, Switzerland.
The story unfolds across three timelines: the 12 months spent planning the heist, the 12 hours during which it takes place, and the 12 days that follow. The series explores the events surrounding the robbery and the challenges faced by the two central characters.
The supporting cast includes Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, Jose Garcia and Kali Reis.‘12 12 12’ is created and executive produced by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble. Filmmaker Kari Skogland directs multiple episodes, including the pilot, and also serves as an executive producer. Mackie and Dornan are executive producers in addition to their lead roles.
The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content and will be available to stream on Apple TV from November 13.
