Comic Con India, a subsidiary of NODWIN Gaming, has rescheduled the first edition of Maruti Suzuki presents Jalandhar Comic Con, powered by Crunchyroll, from November 21–22, 2026, to February 27–28, 2027. The event will continue to take place at Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Jalandhar.
The organisers said the decision was taken to ensure that the inaugural edition delivers the scale, quality and energy associated with Comic Con India. The additional preparation time will allow the team to create a more immersive experience for fans, bringing together comics, anime, gaming, cosplay and other elements of pop culture.
Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, said the priority was to ensure that Jalandhar’s first Comic Con reflects the spirit of the event and offers fans a memorable experience.
“Comic Con has always been about bringing people together to celebrate the fandoms and stories they love. As we prepare to bring Jalandhar its first Comic Con, our priority is to ensure that fans get an experience that truly reflects the scale, energy and spirit of Comic Con India,” Johnson said.
She thanked fans and partners for their understanding and patience, adding that the team looked forward to welcoming visitors to Jalandhar on February 27–28, 2027, for a celebration of pop culture, community and fandom.
Following the rescheduling, online ticket sales for Jalandhar Comic Con have been put on hold. Organisers are working on arrangements for existing ticket holders, including the transition to the revised dates or refunds. Details regarding ticket validity and the next steps will be communicated directly to those who have already purchased tickets.
Ticket sales for the rescheduled edition are expected to open 90 days before the event. Further announcements will be shared through Comic Con India’s official website and social media channels.
