The Hindi version of Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Jailer 2’ will release in theatres on October 15, as originally planned. The makers have clarified the release schedule following reports suggesting that the film might not be released in Hindi.
According to an ANI report, the makers confirmed that there has been no change to the planned theatrical release of the Hindi version.
The clarification came after reports about the film’s Hindi release created uncertainty among audiences, particularly in North India.
The makers stated that the Hindi version will arrive in theatres alongside the film’s other language versions. Pen Marudhar Entertainment will handle the film’s distribution across North India.
The team has also urged media outlets and platforms to avoid circulating unverified information about the release.
‘Jailer 2’ is the sequel to Rajinikanth’s 2023 film ‘Jailer’. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the upcoming film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 15.
