Prime Video’s ‘Dupahiya’ is back with its second season. The show returns to the village of Dhadakpur with familiar characters, new problems and more comedy. The new season brings fresh stories around Bhugol, Roshni and the other residents of the village.
According to a Prime Video release, one of the main stories in Season 2 is about a new mobile tower built on Banwari’s land. The tower soon becomes a topic of discussion among the villagers and leads to rumours and new problems in Dhadakpur.
Bhugol is also dealing with a new phase in his life as he becomes popular in the village. His newfound fame affects his life and the people around him, adding a new angle to his story.
Meanwhile, Roshni is focused on preparing for an important exam. With Amavas supporting her, she tries to balance her studies with the different situations taking place in Dhadakpur.
The new season brings back Sparsh Shrivastava, Bhuvan Arora, Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Yashpal Sharma. Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua, joins the cast in Season 2.
‘Dupahiya’ Season 2 continues its mix of village life, family moments, gossip and comedy. The everyday problems of Dhadakpur once again become the centre of new stories and unexpected situations.
Directed by Sonam Nair, the series is created and produced by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani under Bombay Film Cartel LLP. It is created and written by Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg.
