Tata Play has expanded its entertainment offering with the launch of Tata Play Reality TV, a dedicated 24×7 ad-free service bringing together some of the most iconic and talked-about moments from Hindi reality television.
The service has been launched in partnership with Shemaroo Entertainment and will initially feature two landmark seasons of ‘Bigg Boss’, with the programming slate set to expand over time. The launch comes as unscripted reality content continues to maintain a strong connect with viewers across audiences.
Tata Play Reality TV aims to create a dedicated destination for some of reality television’s most memorable personalities, rivalries, friendships and emotional journeys, along with the cultural moments that have remained part of popular conversation long after their original telecast.
The channel launches with ‘Bigg Boss’ Season 1 (2006-07) and Season 11 (2017-18), offering viewers a chance to revisit two seasons from different eras of the long-running reality franchise.
The inaugural Season 1, hosted by Arshad Warsi and won by Rahul Roy, introduced audiences to the concept of celebrities living together under constant surveillance. The season featured personalities including Rahul Roy, Ravi Kishan and Rakhi Sawant, whose interactions and individual personalities created some of the show’s earliest memorable moments.
Complementing the first season is ‘Bigg Boss’ Season 11, hosted by Salman Khan and won by Shilpa Shinde. The 2017-18 season is remembered for its strong personalities, intense rivalries, emotional moments and task-driven gameplay. Contestants such as Shilpa Shinde and Hina Khan became central to the season, while their on-screen equations and individual journeys generated considerable viewer engagement.
Tata Play Reality TV will air fresh episodes of ‘Bigg Boss’ Season 1 and Season 11 every day, allowing viewers to revisit the seasons and moments that made the franchise a part of popular culture. The service will carry the tagline “Relive the Kalesh”, bringing back the drama, rivalries and relationships that kept audiences hooked.
The 24×7 ad-free service will also feature curated shorts highlighting memorable fights, friendships and other moments from the Bigg Boss house. Viewers can revisit moments ranging from Rakhi Sawant’s memorable re-entry and the Ravi Kishan-Rahul Roy dynamic in Season 1 to the Shilpa Shinde-Vikas Gupta rivalry, Hina Khan’s journey and the Puneesh Sharma-Bandgi Kalra relationship in Season 11.
Tata Play Reality TV is now available on Channel No. 150, giving viewers uninterrupted access to Hindi reality entertainment and a chance to relive some of the franchise’s most recognisable seasons and contestants.
