AdTech company Frodoh has partnered with regional OTT platform STAGE to introduce a new first-screen monetisation framework on the STAGE app.
According to a Frodoh press release from Mumbai today, the partnership will allow STAGE to generate additional advertising revenue through high-attention placements on its home and discovery screens. The brand placements will appear without interrupting the streaming of movies and shows.
Frodoh will design and deploy a Connected TV (CTV)-first technology for STAGE. The technology will help brands reach audiences based on their viewing intent, session depth and content discovery behaviour.
The new advertising framework will be available across STAGE’s regional language offerings, including Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali and Hindi.
Vinay Singhal, CEO and Co-Founder at STAGE, said the partnership will help the platform explore a new monetisation layer within the discovery experience while keeping content consumption uninterrupted.
Russhabh R Thakkar, Founder and CEO of Frodoh, said the company aims to help regional OTT platforms make better use of high-attention advertising spaces without affecting the viewing experience.
Through the partnership, Frodoh and STAGE aim to build a scalable advertising model that connects brands with regional audiences while keeping the core content experience uninterrupted.
