Saatchi & Saatchi India has appointed Mayuresh Dubhashi as its new Chief Creative Officer (CCO). He will be based in the agency’s Mumbai office and will report to Paritosh Srivastava, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi India, BBH India and Propagate India.
According to a Saatchi & Saatchi India press release today from Mumbai, Mayuresh will work closely with Kartik Smetacek, Chief Creative Officer, Saatchi & Saatchi India, to shape the agency’s creative direction and deliver modern, culture-led solutions for brands.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in brand building, innovation strategy and storytelling. Before joining Saatchi & Saatchi India, Mayuresh was the Chief Creative Officer at FCB Neo India.
He has also held leadership roles at Leo India, Grey, Taproot Dentsu and JWT. During his earlier stint at Leo India, he led Oreo’s #BringBack2011 campaign, which became India’s most awarded campaign of 2023.
As part of the leadership change, Rohit Malkani, currently Chief Creative Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi India, will move into the role of Senior Creative Advisor. He will continue to support the agency’s creative work for some key brands.
Paritosh Srivastava said Mayuresh brings strong experience in culture, consumers and technology, which will help the agency create impactful work. He also thanked Rohit for his contribution to Saatchi & Saatchi India over nearly a decade.
Mayuresh said he is excited to return to Publicis Groupe India and lead the next phase of Saatchi & Saatchi India’s creative journey. He said creativity today should combine culture, data and technology with strong human insights and ideas.
