Prime Video is set for a packed September, with the expansion of the ‘Reacher’ universe through ‘Neagley’, the return of NFL action with ‘Thursday Night Football’, several Prime Original films and series, and live WNBA, NWSL and New York Yankees games. 

The month will also bring films adapted from best-selling books, while ‘The Grand Tour’ returns with a new lineup of hosts.

The biggest series launch is ‘Neagley’, premiering September 16 and starring Maria Sten as Chicago private investigator Frances Neagley. 

The character sets out to uncover a menacing evil after a friend from her past is killed in a suspicious accident, drawing on what she learned from Reacher and her time with the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.

Among the other Prime Originals, ‘The Runner’ arrives September 2, with Gal Gadot playing a London lawyer whose son is taken during her morning run.

‘The Grand Tour’ returns September 4 with trainspotter Francis Bourgeois joining “Throttle House” creators James Engelsman and Thomas Holland for six globe-trotting episodes.

‘Drawn Together’, premiering September 9, is a romantic thriller based on Mercedes Ron’s bestselling ‘Enfrentados’ duology and stars Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García.

The lineup also includes ‘A Love Other Than Yours’ on September 12, following a couple whose 10-year relationship faces a test when one of them develops feelings for another man. 

‘You+Me – Against the World’, Prime Video’s first French young adult Original film, arrives September 18 and is based on Emma Green’s bestselling trilogy, which has sold nearly 1 million copies in France. 

Romantic comedy ‘The Love Hypothesis’ premieres September 23, following a Ph.D. candidate whose impulsive kiss with an intimidating professor turns into a fake relationship. 

The September 24 release ‘Go Deep: The DeSean Jackson Story’ traces the former NFL wide receiver’s rise through more than 30 years of home video filmed by his brother Byron, exploring the family relationships behind his story.

On the sports front, the 2026 regular season of ‘Thursday Night Football’ begins September 17 with Detroit Lions vs Buffalo Bills, followed by Atlanta Falcons vs Green Bay Packers on September 24. Prime Video will also stream WNBA, NWSL and New York Yankees games, along with ONE Championship and Seattle Kraken preseason matches during the month.
