The trailer of filmmaker Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming crime drama ‘Daayra’ has been released, offering a glimpse into a tense investigation surrounding a juvenile crime case.

The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. The two actors play police officers who approach the investigation from different perspectives, leading to a conflict as they try to uncover the truth behind the case.

 According to an ANI report from Mumbai, the trailer introduces Kareena as a determined police officer investigating a serious crime. Prithviraj plays another senior police officer involved in the case. 
Their characters are shown questioning suspects, examining evidence and trying to understand what led to the crime.

The trailer also focuses on the juvenile angle of the case, raising questions about responsibility, justice and how the legal system deals with crimes involving young people.

Along with Kareena and Prithviraj, the film features talented actors in supporting roles, adding to the investigative and emotional depth of the story.

Directed by Meghna, ‘Daayra’ is backed by Junglee Pictures. The film marks another collaboration between Gulzar and the production house following their earlier work in socially relevant stories. The film releases on October 2 in theatres.
