Meta has launched the Edits Film Festival in India, inviting creators to turn their everyday video clips into short, cinematic Reels using the Edits app.
According to a Meta official announcement today, the festival is designed to give creators a platform to showcase their creativity and filmmaking skills. Participants can use footage from their daily lives and transform it into engaging short-form videos.
Creators can submit their Reels made using the Edits app during the festival’s submission period. Meta will highlight selected entries and celebrate creators who bring creative and original ideas to the platform.
The initiative aims to encourage creators to experiment with storytelling, editing and different visual styles while using Edits’ creative tools.
The Edits app is Meta’s video-editing application, designed to help creators make and edit videos for platforms such as Instagram.
